No, I'm not dead just busy. I have a couple small jobs I have to finish before I can keep on focussing on my stuff. Here is a stress relief speed painting after a hard day of work.

THE GUARDS

My new technique works out better with every painting I do. I never developed so many brushes during a picture. That is probably part of the reason why it took the better part of the night to finish. I'm going to focus on architecture in the future. Cheers!

The current theme I'm stuck with is speed. Focussing on a painterly look I try to achieve movement and power. The cheesy environment wasn't on purpose, but I can't help it :( This is dedicated to my little bro bosse, who recently won a judo-championship.

This is what my new bike feels like. I developed a new approach on doing speed paintings for this one. It allows me to get done much faster. I'll make a tutorial video which hopefully explains the procedure. I'm quite happy with the result, although I didn't have a clue what I wanted to draw in the first place... oh well.

In my way to work I saw this guy, staring at a Kawasaki Ninja. He was about 40 years old and he had this weird I-am-soo-doing-this-look in his eyes. It's the same look when my cousin talks about getting a huge tattoo. It's like the never fulfilled dream, although noone really bars them from doing it. I know, there are many of you out there, believing Chuck Norris is invincible. I admit there are many facts that definitelly support this claim.

Furthermore I'm working on a set of street-art stickers, although the technique is yet to find. My friend Paul a.k.a. Waakabund is selling a really nice bunch right now, which keeps inspiring me. I'm still doing a lot of digital painting, but none of them really make me wanna post them.
It's a pain when you freehand-draw font and then someone points out that you misspelled the word you just finished. But the little girl above was saying merci. doh! Thanks for pointing petja, I can still hear you laughing. Cheers

FREDDY FAMOUS

Wow. Back from the Ostsee I have to admit that this 3day party was more then awesome. Although the 'clubscene' in Stralsund isn't really too satisfying for the usual observing eye, it does have some potential. I found myself dancing to 'the greatest time of my liiiife' together with the scariest croud; ever. Big up to all the Oozing Goo members who shared this great experience with me. Thanks to Sagat who gave me 'Wolfmother' <--awesome. Didn't get too much done really, but the combination of familyparty and clubbing really got me going.
Things are going very well. I have a couple new job opportunities, my little animation film is going to be broadcasted some time soon and the Tarantino movie is coming to town which still makes me proud. Besides, today I was tought how to screenprint and on next thursday I'm going to print my first shirts. I'm not really sure, if the little shalom-guy (above) is making it onto one of them. I'm probably going for 'Das Einfache das Schwer zu machen ist'-Shirts; they look good and they promote my animation film. I always like to kill two birds with one stone.

I happened to be in a really cheesy mood when I drew this. I started hating it then. You know these strange days when certain events change pure lightheartedness into melancholy? Photoshop has a way out of this, so I started liking this now. I wish I'd have an invert function in real life.
